As the legendary ship is prepared for its maiden voyage, the passengers begin boarding — including Mark and Sophia, who hope to make a new life for themselves in America. Meanwhile, a little girl named Sarah and her mother (who have a secret past with Mark) also make it aboard without his knowing.

The Nutcracker

Miyako Yoshida and Steven McRae head up the cast of the Royal Ballet’s version of the classic Christmas story of a little girl who discovers a magical world when she tries to sneak a look at her presents on Christmas Eve.

A Michael Bublé Christmas
10 p.m., CTV
Vancouver crooner Michael Bublé headlines his own old-fashioned holiday TV special where he is joined by fellow Canadian Justin Bieber, Kellie Pickler, Thalia and Oscar the Grouch to perform songs from his Christmas album (including “Jingle Bells,” “White Christmas” and “Feliz Navidad”). Tracy Morgan (30 Rock) and Ed Helms (The Office) help out in the comedy department with a series of short films.

This special, taped live, not only features this year’s Grammy nominees but will present performances from some of the biggest acts in music, all from the stage of Bridgestone Arena in Nashville.
