Miranda Lambert's album Four the Record picked up this year's ACM Awards trophy for Album of the Year
Miranda Lambert holding her ACM trophies for her album Four the Record
Miranda Lambert won her third album of the year award at the Academy of Country Music Awards. She’s collecting these things almost as fast as Taylor Swift! Lambert laughed “Seriously?” when she was awarded the trophy for Four the Record.
She sounded grateful to her fans for the win. “I own every record in this category and I’ve been listening and listening thinking I’m going to get it. Every record is amazing, and I’m so thrilled. I will never take this trophy for granted. My albums are my babies. It’s what makes me wake up in the mornings.”
Her husband, host Blake Shelton introduced her, gushing over his award-winning wife before she performed (beautifully, by the way) at the show in a black corset and flowing skirt. What did you guys think of Lambert’s win? Let us know below.
