Justin Bieber, Olivia Rodrigo and Billie Eilish are among the top contenders at this year's Grammys
A lot’s changed in the world these past two years, but come COVID or high water, music will endure.
In fact, as far as the Recording Academy’s annual honours go, there’s even more to celebrate, since several major categories expand by two to encompass 10 nominees each. As CBS presents the 64th Annual Grammy Awards from Las Vegas’s MGM Grand Garden Arena on Sunday (the event was postponed from January, thanks to Omicron), The Late Show With Stephen Colbert bandleader Jon Batiste leads all nominees with 11 bids.
Despite some strife within and challenging of the Recording Academy in recent years, the Grammys—which Trevor Noah of The Daily Show will host for the second consecutive gala—remain the high bar of music awards, with industry professionals casting the votes.
