Vancouverite Yael Cohen and Scooter Braun have announced they’re getting married

Vancouver local Yael Cohen, the founder/CEO of F*ck Cancer, is engaged to Scooter Braun, Justin Bieber’s manager. Cohen was born in South Africa but was raised in Vancouver and attended UBC.

The Canadian superstar’s manager popped the question to the B.C. beauty this past Sunday at his home in Los Angeles. The couple has been dating since early 2013. News of the engagement slowly spread on Twitter, with Yael tweeting “2014, I like you” on Sunday night. Scooter gave us another hint by tweeting “Loving 2014. Luckiest guy in the world :)” on Monday morning.

Then local girl Carly-Rae Jepsen joined the Twitter party with a confirmation tweet: “Huge congrats to @scooterbraun and @yael on their engagement! I am so happy for you both! #truelove #yay”.
