A Netflix dating show reunites its cast to see if true love really did bloom on the air
Can you fall in love and find your perfect match before ever actually meeting the person face-to-face? That was the question Love Is Blind posed when it first hit the streaming service back in early 2020. Now, two years after first filming the show, the original cast is back for a three-part reunion special in which fans can find out just how long-lasting certain relationships have actually been.
In it, we catch up with the two married couples, Amber and Barnett and Lauren and Cameron, who are each celebrating their two-year wedding anniversary. However it looks as though most, if not all, the other core cast members are also making appearances to update fans as to their whereabouts. Front and centre is Jessica, who memorably started crushing on Barnett while she was still engaged to Mark. Going through the experiment, I really kind of crashed and burned in front of the world, Jessica tells the cameras in the preview.
In other words? It should be a good time when she, Amber and Barnett are all back in the same room. Jessica wasn’t the only contestant who went through the emotional ringer during her time on the series, though. Who could forget the explosive hook-up and breakup between Diamond and Carlton? They’re both back to examine what happened now that some time has passed, but as Carlton reveals, he’s still super-emotional about how everything played out. It’s the reunion Love Is Blind fans needed in their lives for sure, but here’s hoping this is all just to whet our appetites and that the previously announced second and third seasons are also dropping on the streaming service soon.
