9 Advent Calendars From B.C.-Based Brands for 2025

We’ve come a long way from the flimsy box of waxy chocolate wrapped in holiday foil

B.C. brands understand the delight of opening a window-per-day containing a little treat, a tradition many of us were introduced to as kids. With all the new offerings out there in advent calendars, there are still plenty of candy options, but think beyond that to bath and beauty products, wine, coffee, candles and more.

You’ve probably noticed some are 12-day and some are 24-day advent calendars out there. Here’s how that works: the 12 Day versions are meant to celebrate the Twelve Days of Christmas, meaning you start on December 25 and end on January 5. The 24 Day calendars? That’s the countdown version, with most people starting December 1 and ending Christmas Eve. However you like to access your advent, here are nine great ideas from B.C. brands.

1. 24 Days of Karameller Advent Calendar

Karameller is a local brand making our Swedish candy dreams come true by offering a daily treat in the cutest advent calendar design. The brand prides itself on creating products without GMOs, trans fats or high-fructose corn syrup, so you can feel a bit better about your daily indulgence. Order this advent calendar by November 20 to ship in time to open the first box on December 1.

2. 12-Day See Ya Later Ranch Advent Calendar

See Ya Later Ranch‘s 2025 wine advent calendar is the perfect Christmas Day kick-off. This calendar comes with 12 full-size bottles of the B.C.-brand’s famous wines—all in one super fun box. Have somebody on your shopping list who’s difficult to buy for? This wine calendar is ideal, especially since it contains an estate-exclusive vintage along with seven curated surprises from B.C. makers and ranch-crafted goodies, too. Even better? A “Golden Ticket” may be waiting in the box, as 10 calendars hide a $250 surprise. Place your orders here by December 18.

Dogs aren’t the only furry ones who love their treats. Catcouver’s Cat Calendar offers a variety of advent calendars that are chock full of kitty goodies and toys, plus a sheet of Christmas stickers. While the Crazy Cat Person is sold out, there are still Cat Lover and Cat Addict calendars left. With every calendar sold, they donate a portion to VOKRA, a Vancouver-based cat shelter. They’ve donated over $29,000 to date—and isn’t giving back what the holidays are all about?

B.C. brand Saje Wellness’ 12-piece advent calendar is the wellness lover’s ideal set. This calendar contains fan faves like Peppermint Halo Roll-On, the new Deep Breath Inhale, a Shiatsu Star Pressure Point Massager and so many other goodies—I’ll stop here to avoid spoiling the surprise.
