Prince William and Princess Kate to Bring Family on Royal Tour of B.C.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge—as well as their children—are in B.C. and Yukon until October 1st

Details of the Royal Tour to Canada of The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have now been released

Kensington Palace has confirmed that Prince William and Princess Kate will be bringing Prince George and Princess Charlotte with them to B.C. later this month.

Their Royal Highnesses are set to visit British Columbia and Yukon from Saturday, September 24 to Saturday, October 1, 2016.

The Ministry of Canadian Heritage has released the official itinerary of the tour, which includes stops in Victoria, Vancouver, Haida Gwaii, Bella Bella and Kelowna as well as Whitehorse and Carcross in Yukon.

Locals who want to get up-close-and-personal with the Royal Family will have opportunities at public events including:

  • An official welcome to Canada and British Columbia in Victoria on September 24 at the Legislative Assembly of Canada
  • The arrival in Vancouver at Jack Poole Plaza and an event at the Kitsilano Coast Guard Station on September 25
  • A street party in Whitehorse on September 28
  • A sailing on a tall ship in Victoria on October 1
