Wet your whistle with premier whisky, beer and spirits at this year's Hopscotch Festival
The Hopscotch Festival will take place at the PNE Forum November 11-17
Don Draper didn’t make partner sipping Mike’s Hard Lemonade. So if you’re looking to pick up a more sophisticated potable, put down the vodka spritzer and head to Hopscotch, Vancouver’s premier whisky, beer and spirits festival.
Now in its 18th year, this world-class event – last year it nabbed a spot on MSN Travel U.K.’s “Best Drinking Festivals Around the World” list – returns to the PNE Forum (Nov. 11-17) with more than 100 booths, the most ever, so there will be no shortage of ways to wet your whistle.
Whisky and brews not for you? With select tequilas, vodkas, gins and other spirits on offer, you can pick your poison.
Event organizer Adam Bloch says B.C. brands will have more of a presence thanks to new liquor laws that make it easier for local breweries and wineries to get products on the shelf.
“Because the laws in B.C. are a little more lenient, we’ll have a lot more stuff, which is great.”
