The PuSh International Performing Arts Festival announces its 2017 lineup of groundbreaking theatre, dance, music & multimedia at various Vancouver venues, January 16 – February 5, 2017. Featuring artists from 11 countries, the 13th annual PuSh Festival showcases cutting-edge contemporary arts – from massive-scale spectacles to intimate, immersive encounters – guaranteed to invigorate and provoke. Among this year’s highlights: A stunning multimedia tour-de-force from an all-star Australian Indigenous band; South Korean performance art with industrial machinery; participatory recitation with the acclaimed Director of Portugal’s National Theatre Company; hilarious, unhinged theatre from an artist with Tourette syndrome; strapping Bavarian folk dancers achieving abnormal physical feats; and much, much more.
